PET Injection Shield

The injection shield is used to protect personnel from radiation when injecting PET isotopes to their patients.
STCF Equipements was inspired by the ALARA approach offering the best compromise between radiation protection and good handling:
  • Compact dimensions
  • Two side handles
  • Twin wheels reducing the shield's weight 
  • A frame to enable passage under the beds 
  • A folding step allows manipulators less than 1.60 m high to gain 15 cm. This step can be kept locked in a vertical position
  • Equipped with an adjustable shelf in height (3 positions) to support up to 10 kg load.
Shield on benchtop

Combining radiation protection and hygiene, the tabletop shield from STCF Equipements can be placed on the workbench of your laboratory and can be moved laterally.
Mounted on nylon wheels, this shield is easy to use and to clean without having to carry it.
It offers an effective radiation protection for the user :
  • 30 mm lead and leaded glass of equivalence 30 mm of lead.
